Are you looking for a unique way to promote your local food business, increase sales and connect with consumers? The Arkansas Farm Trail is a passport program that brings consumers across the state directly to your farm. By joining the program, you’ll be featured in ArFB’s Arkansas Farm Trail passport, which incentivizes Arkansans to visit farms and collect stamps to earn prizes. Our hope is that visitors will learn your farm’s story, purchase your products and learn where their food comes from. ArFB’s Arkansas Farm Trail is focused on promoting the production of local foods such as fruits and vegetables, grains and meat/animal products. Value-added products such as jams, jellies and pickles are included as well. A major step forward for agriculture today as the Senate Ag Committee advances the federal farm bill. Many thanks to Committee Chairman Sen. @JohnBoozman for his leadership and support of Arkansas farmers and ranchers. Arkansas Farm Bureau President Dan Wright and Arkansas agriculture leaders have been in Washington sharing what farmers face, including economic pressures, rising diesel prices and payment limitations. Arkansas agriculture leaders are in Washington D.C. meeting with members of Congress and policymakers to discuss the issues that matter most to Arkansas farmers and rural communities. ArFB President Dan Wright is among leaders from @AgCouncilofAR, @RiceArkansas, @RicelandFoods and @FarmCredit, who are working together to advocate for a strong farm bill, a stronger farm economy, economic assistance, a reliable labor force, and other priorities facing agriculture. ArFB is also joining a broader effort led by American Farm Bureau to encourage Senators to advance and pass the farm bill. These conversations are important as we work to make sure the voices of Arkansas farmers are heard in Washington.
