Aragon powers protocols with products and services designed to manage access control, capital allocation, and ownership at scale. Build something worth owning.

Ethereum
Tokens can only be evaluated on fundamentals when they have enforceable claims on value and capital flows. Today we're releasing the Ownership Token Framework, measuring how project fundamentals map to the token by evaluating ownership, value accrual, and verifiability.

Why infrastructure design matters for DeFi policy
Managed vaults don't have to choose between active management and noncustodiality. With the right access control architecture, you can preserve user control while still enabling economically useful activity like active vault management.
The Morpho vaults using Aragon Guardians are a good example. The architecture combines: 1. Defined permissions: Curators have defined permissions to manage how assets are allocated. 2. Timelocks and exit rights: Changes that increase risk are generally subject to a timelock, giving depositors the ability to withdraw before they take effect. 3. A trustless Guardian: The Guardian has permission to veto pending actions during the timelock. With Aragon Guardians, that veto sits directly with vault depositors, who can vote to revoke an action onchain before it takes effect.
@SteakhouseFi and @Morpho have been early and consistent in pushing this model forward. Aragon Guardians now secure more than $1B across the Morpho ecosystem. DeFi gives builders a broad design space to combine permissions, timelocks, vetoes, withdrawal rights, transaction constraints and other safeguards according to the risks and functions of a particular product.
The result is a spectrum of architectures with different allocations of control, trust assumptions, and counterparty risk. Those differences should matter to how regulators treat these protocols and products, rather than relying on binary distinctions like managed vs. unmanaged or centralized vs. decentralized.
This is one of the things I value about working builder-side on policy: we can address policy concerns directly in product and infrastructure design.
Good DeFi policy should recognize these differences and preserve the ability to keep designing for better outcomes at the infrastructure layer.

Trustless guardians are a core part of the future of vault infrastructure. Over $1B across the Morpho ecosystem is secured by Aragon Guardians, giving depositors onchain veto rights over significant curator actions without relying on a trusted intermediary.

Secure signing shouldn’t mean choosing between automation and human review. Aragon combines automated checks for routine actions with expert review when transactions require deeper technical judgment. Scale operations without removing humans from the decisions that matter.

Much of what CLARITY attempted to fix, can be self regulated and enforced. In fact, it's exactly the value proposition blockchains and smart-contracts offer. Immutability, automation, and decentralisation all protect consumers and token holders through trust/control-minimization. There are examples in the wild: @LidoFinance's optimistic dual governance. @Morpho's immutability. @MetaDAOProject ownership token launches. @SteakhouseFi guardians built on @AragonProject. There are more examples. Network & ownership tokens can be validated and requested at otf.aragon.org so investors can make educated decisions. @l2beat and @defiscan_info provide trust assumptions on chains and protocols. CLARITY not passing is short-term negative, but, these are solvable problems and the market will weed out the bad actors. Aragon has dedicated much of its history to providing tools just to solve these problems. If we want this industry to grow then it's up to us to double down on what the spirit of CLARITY offered and simply use the tools we have at our fingertips. A big thank you to all those who pushed for our industry, for the good actors, and to drive adoption. I'm sure the battle isn't over on the policy front, but it's time for the builders to do what we need to do.

Another major onchain use case becomes confidential: governance. @AragonProject just launched Confidential Voting, an Aragon OSx plugin built on the Zama Protocol. Individual votes stay encrypted while they're counted. Only the final tally is revealed. Programmable confidentiality lets projects define what can be decrypted, by whom, and under what conditions. Piece by piece, the HTTPS moment for public blockchains is taking shape.

Our friends at @AragonProject just launched confidential voting for DAOs! If you have been following crypto governance over the past few years, you know how much social pressure can affect results. People will vote what they think is right, only to get bullied on social media and people trying to steer the vote in a particular direction. As a result, many people just don't vote at all, by fear of the potential negative backlash on their decision. There is a reason why offchain democracy ensures privacy of vote choices, and we are now bringing this onchain! Oh, and the UX is so simple, there's really no reason not to use it :)

Reach out to Aragon if you need to up your security game. We’re working with projects on securing their access-control and execution.
I guess today is the best time to be scaling a cybersecurity firm. The cost of attacks is becoming so low that now, not only all big firms need to double down on sec but also small startups will need security products -> the TAM is becoming insanely huge AI is becoming so great, you dont really need humans anymore for security audits -> you can truly create a SaaS type of business now The 2 combine makes cybersecurity firms a much more scalable and valuable business. Curious to see how it's going to unfold in the future.
