You see everyone clicking.
So naturally, you want to click too.
Someone drops a link.
βClaim is live.β
Someone replies with a screenshot.
Another person says, βIt worked for me.β
And suddenly you're thinking:
βWait, am I the only one not doing this?β
This is where you need to slow down.
If you're new to Web3, you might think this is just how things work here.
If you've been around for a while, you probably already know better.
But knowing better doesn't always mean we do better in the moment.
Sometimes the FOMO is louder than the common sense.
And that's how people end up interacting with things they haven't even verified.
Before you connect your wallet, sign something, or enter your details, take a second.
Check where the link came from.
Check the account sharing it.
Look for the announcement from the project's official channels.
And most importantly, ask yourself:
βDo I actually know what I'm about to interact with?β
You don't need to click because everyone else is clicking.
You don't need to rush because someone said βlimited time.β
And you definitely don't need to prove you're active in Web3 by interacting with everything that moves.
Sometimes you can just watch.
Verify.
Then decide.
Because whether you've been in Web3 for two days or two years,
one wrong click can still be an expensive lesson.
