In the original game they animated Link grabbing the doorknobs, opening the doors, and closing them behind himself. In the remake Link pushes the doors on the wrong side and they close themselves. #oot #zelda #ocarinaoftime

My take on what's going on in Ravenous. Raven Beak is still physically dead but he implanted a clone of his consciousness in Samus. When he says "Brave warrior, become my flesh and blood" he can't mean "become my family" because she's already his bio daughter. #metroidravenous

Funny this change makes this room LESS realistic. The original idea was the spiders of Ganon's curse stole the ladder and stuck it in their web and you shoot it down back where it belongs. Now it's some bizarre ladder-dispensing machine someone made. #Zelda #OoT #OcarinaofTime

I see a lot of misreading of what I'm saying. I'm not saying machines in the Deku Tree are bad. I'm saying in this specific room the ladder stuck in a web is better environmental storytelling than ancients building the room with the ladder already up there.

What I would have done would have a spider hoist the ladder into the web after Link enters the room to trap him. Then you have to shoot the spider to free the ladder.
