Taishi takes down the top seed!
It took 19 holes, but Taishi Moto advanced to the round of 32 at the #USAm, defeating Joshua Ryan (stroke play medalist).
Taishi Moto and Tianyi Xiong are moving on to the match play portion of the #usam at Merion!
Tianyi was T23 after stroke play while Taishi advanced via playoff for the final spot.
