Just as @IJ put up their ALPR abuse database, it's already out of date.
Gotta add in the 'Goodyear, AZ' incident that was just disclosed yesterday.
Today, @IJ published a new database tracking abuse of ALPR cameras by police across the country.
The database, which will be routinely updated, currently has more than 140 examples of cops misusing ALPRs.

This a cold and calculated PR operation in action, there is nothing to "trust" about Flock in any way.
Flock's PR team is trying to reframe the conversation towards police departments & a 'bad apples' narrative.
And away from Flock themselves.
The core issue is that flock is a private company trying to create a mass surveillance system.
And grow so fast that America can't uninstall them.

"Any of these cameras that are used to store data without a warrant in a national database that shares it with law enforcement across the country, to me that's a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment," McCormick said. "That's what my legislation will try to make illegal."
"I think my legislation is going to completely do away with those types of cameras, make them illegal in Louisiana, basically," McCormick said. "I'm going to try to mirror the speed camera legislation as much as I can."
