I’ve had a few ask lately what is my effing problem, so I’m going to tell you. I’m a former Marine, I worked in a Federal penitentiary for 20 years, and I grew up idolizing Clint Eastwood. So there you have it, I’m a grumpy, crusty old basturd with next to no tolerance for stupidity, so therefore follow me at your own risk. Now, get the hell off my lawn!

I need the Bose QuietComfort Toilet.
This is not a bathroom fixture, this could be a lifestyle.
Why I need it you ask?
• Noise cancellation so the entire household doesn’t get a live album of my business
• That seat is just a giant QC ear cushion and I will never sit on cold hard plastic again
• Built-in speakers so I can listen to a podcast at 11 without anyone hearing the plot… or anything else
• Ambient underglow because even the throne deserves a nightclub
• Active cancellation of splash, flush, and “you good in there?”
• Bass so clean it should come with a warning label
• Finally a product where “immersive audio” is not marketing, it’s a threat
Bose looked at headphones, looked at the toilet, and said “what if we solved the last remaining source of shame in the modern home.”
This is not luxury, this is a peace of mind...

Guess I'm late to the party, but I hadn't heard about the Six Flags roller coaster ride X2 in California that was recently shut down after lawsuits from more than 100 riders that suffered severe brain compression, hemorrhages, and traumatic brain injuries. A 22 yr old man back in 2022 even died from the TBI he suffered after goimg on the ride with his brother.

So the stray we rescued a couple weeks ago that was flea infested has been doing much better. He went in for a neauter this morning and the vet called us about an hr later and said while he was under anesthesia and they were pushing around on his bladder to empty it they discovered a huge mass the size of a softball. He recommended not doing the neutering and finding out what that was in case it was cancer. They called back a few hrs later to say the surgery went well, they removed the mass and it appeared to have possible been an old wound (maybe gun shot) that had somehow formed a mass in a protection mode sort of way. The poor guy is doing ok, has a 10 inch incision with staples, alot of pain meds, antibiotics, and will go back in a couple weeks to get staples out and try the neauter surgery again.
