It's rather irrelevant but I'll still mention it, my headcanon on my drawings is that the Asukas dealing with MPEs, Rei, Shinji, Nerv, etc, are each a separate instance, not mixed up, no cheating / NTR. But that's how 'I' see them.

Sometimes I get a sweet asushin idea, but midway through, I go "why bother if it's gonna be underwhelming for my core supporters and I'll be resented by the target audience because of my track record" and work on something else instead. I draw it just for myself and move on.
