I think people vastly overestimate Genshin’s planning and foreshadowing at times. Like think of the coolest thing that could happen in game and they’re probably not gonna do it. Which is why Nahida’s birthday letter is presently the reach of the century to me.

Cannot even trust actual artists because more often than id like to admit they have like an 180 improvement curve where in days they get perfect anatomy and sense of space and rendering
And they also just happen to find a workflow that allows them to post 5 pieces a day

Also, Original Zandik and Omega Dottore are really an incredible set. Because one realized he couldn’t progress because he aged/evolved. The other realized he couldn’t progress because he couldn’t age/evolve. Most damned if you do, damned if you don’t character I’ve ever seen.
