Yesterday's conversation and the folks in my mentions are a wake up call that neess attention. Anti-intellectualism is running rampant in this country. People are not able to engage critically because they don't know what critically means. They think it means to disagree.

I'm thinking about how Ruby from Max & Ruby was a parentified child at like the tender age of 7. She had full caretaking duties of a little brother who was insane and constantly in near-death situation. Absenteeism affects girl children in a way that's almost irrevocable.

In the same way that a woman wanting to use prophylaxis with her partner becomes grounds for abuse because it means that they're "giving it away" to other men. I'm not sure how else to communicate the context of the country we love in and how we arrive at things.
For the silly ducks that cannot understand what she means by misogynistic weapon, much like infidelity, men will accuse women of having "given them" another man's child, without any evidence, as a thing to use as an excuse for abuse.
