I was just a student then but because of my love for the sport, out my pocket money and the little I had I still sacrificed 2k to watch the sport I love.
Now that I have a job I can’t even afford to go watch them anymore.

Nigerians love football but the economy has crippled 80-90% of the population.
People who barely feed will never pay 1k to watch semi professionals play.
The best many of us can do is stream the matches that is if it’s even televised.
Sporting Lagos has done everything to engage fans in Nigeria. They do training vlogs, pre-match experience, sell tickets for 1k, banter rival clubs, etc.
Yet, I have more Twitter followers than SL and they can’t even fill a 10k stadium with fans.
Nigerians don’t like football.
