“It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.” — Mark Twain

“Protecting gamblers” should not be anyone’s concern or priority in any context at all. It especially should not be the concern of any sports league, team, or individual athlete. Sports betting is a scourge. Absolute unequivocal net negative right down the line. I supported legalizing it and I’ve never been more wrong about anything.
The handling of Jalen Hurts' calf injury is fishy, and there's nothing to protect gamblers from not getting enough information about it.

Sports gambling has a net negative on society without question, but I also believe this is a rational. There’s regulation around speculation on commodity prices, stocks, bonds etc…when government collects taxes on an outcome then those who break rules should be punished

I think @hark_labs by @adcock_brett puts every other personal AI agent to shame. Great interface and proactivity. Excellent browser use.

“What are you supposed to do with a model this small” Didn’t realize you were putting rockets into space dumbass
GPT-6 Luna is literally a trap. It's sold as basically unlimited usage. But what are you supposed to do with a model this small? Give it a task and it can spend a whole afternoon and still not get it right. Astra finishes the same thing in a few minutes. Even for simple jobs, like running it inside Hermes as a cheap helper, it ignores your instructions and does its own thing. No matter how many constraints you give it. Unlimited usage doesn't mean much if the work never gets done.

Asking Claude to review your code is a slot machine. Every review finds brand new bugs. Review again: more. Review a tenth time: it still finds something. It never runs out of bugs to find... so how do you decide your code is actually done?

All of these new personal agent apps are really good. However, I’m super impressed with @hark_labs. Dots, Grok Bot, and Muse are all powered by massive labs and corporations, which makes Hark Pro that much more impressive. Very satisfying product all around, @adcock_brett.

we're increasingly going to be moving towards Claude's "brains" in the cloud and giving Claude "local hands" to operate on your computer I talked about this a bit on latent space
More from @trq212 on local hands and how it is being implemented in Claude Code: (see more on latent.space/p/thariq)

Cloud sessions run Claude Code on a fresh VM for each task, so you can start several at once and they keep going when you close your laptop. We wrote a field guide with seven workflows that suit them, plus how to connect GitHub on the first try. claude.dev/blog/claude-code-…

Too predictable What if Everyone is jaded and they know nobody wants a vaccine Vaccine actually works But vaccine is scarcely available Everyone fights over access Government becomes “hero” However the limited supply is only distributed to select groups People actually die from outbreak You either listen to government and live Or resist and die from outbreak, starvation, civil unrest etc
A plague breakout you say? I’ll tell you all exactly what’s going to happen, for free: - They will claim there is a deadly plague outbreak of which no known cure exists. - They will claim it’s impossible to survive once contracted. - There will be much fear pumping media spread around. - There will be a run on grocery stores, simple things like water, food and toilet paper will become scarce. - Suddenly, a “miracle vaccine” Will appear from nowhere. - The vaccine will be “untested” but somehow labeled entirely safe. - You won’t be able to buy groceries or go to work without taking said “vaccine.” - Said “vaccine” will end up murdering countless numbers of people. - Those deaths will be labeled as “plague related.” - New laws taking more of your freedom will be introduced in the name of safety. - 5 years later, we will discover that once again, the whole thing is a lie. End of story. Save this post, and come back in a few years if you don’t believe me.

The most overdue update of all time
We are making Markdown files work natively across Google Drive and Docs. You can now preview .md files in Drive, open them in Docs, edit them, comment on them, and collaborate without converting the file into a Google Doc!

It will develop over time. The important part is making it part of the broader ecosystem within the app itself. These types of agents will become baseline or expected features within any subscription

The phone call thing is a bit weird. It’s not a real phone call and doesn’t appear to use the phone call API on iOS which apps like WhatsApp and etc use. It’s just a simulated phone call using ChatGPT’s live voice mode feature.

Why is Claude remote feature still so primitive, I love codex remote feature, everything is synced in real time, everything on my Mac I can see it on my phone too Claude has to run rc on a session, I want seamless platform switching without affecting any underlying session or work Fix it @ClaudeDevs

If you're using Claude Code Projects and had to bump the main chat's effort, I'd love to know why! Low is the default since it mostly just coordinates threads, but curious where that falls short You can override the defaults in Project settings. Sonnet 5.5 is in there too 👀

I would assume so. Definitely stale ones. I never use cowork anymore

Politics on X feels dead because I am not putting spiritual energy into it. Everyone feels the absence. That is why so many are lashing out at me. I’m not even doing anything wrong. I’m just not doing anything.
