Sports Talk Radio junkie...The first ten seasons of The Simpsons...Seinfeld...The Pistons...Single cab pickup trucks...70's films.
And so on and so forth.....
You nailed it regarding Roberts' performance in Pope of Greenwich Village. It damn near ruins the movie. It was similar to Sharon Stone's over-the-top performance in Casino. But that was partly due to the unlikableness of her character too. She was as subtle as a hydrogen bomb. I think the best thing Roberts ever did was that guest shot on King of Queens as the paint ball mercenary with the domineering wife.
@gordondamer
You can spend thousands of dollars taking your family to an overpriced Disney theme park or you can fly to India and enjoy this for less than it takes to fill up your gas tank.
I'm not watching 'Dodger Joe' Davis calling any more Dodger games on FOX.
It would be like listening to Michael Kay doing Yankee post season games for ESPN radio.
Oh, that's right.....
Leland Vittert interviewing John Bolton without a sense of irony. Is this really the best guest that Vittert can scrounge up to malign Xi Jinping's White House visit? Or is this just Bolton's last contractual visit before being sentenced next month?
He's STILL talking about the Mets.
This Mocha Joe wannabe is an embarrassment to WFAN and sports talk radio in general. No callers... I wonder why?
@tommylugauer
Moving from one major market to another? Only one that comes to mind is John Kincade. He went from Atlanta to Philadelphia and back to Atlanta, while also working for CBS Sports Talk Radio. As well as fighting cancer, all at the same time.
@Alsboringtweets
WFAN's Al Cintron doing the ultimate little brother fake rage bit by tearing down the Yankees while giving his Mets a mid-August tongue bath, especially his boy Lindor. Gordon Damer might be right about most Mets fans: Saying they hate the Yankees more than they love their Mets. And Cintron is the poster boy for this type of Mets schmuck.
Still waiting on Dan Dickerson to announce how that Gleyber Torres double play was scored in the 8th inning. He's such an incompetent radio play-by-play announcer these days. Just sloppy and lazy. Detroit Tiger fans deserve better than this.
Nice job by Ray Jarvis on WFAN this morning, his first time hosting an overnight shift behind the mic. He's been letting the callers express their opinions and not just pushing them out the door, like Anthony Gallo does. Here's hoping Jarvis gets more mic time on The Fan.
You'd think this is an Indiana Fever home game the way the crowd is cheering following every Indiana score. Even Chicago roots for Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham in the WNBA.
The Tigers Dan Dickerson is unlisttenable these days. He's so sloppy and lazy with his calls, he just makes a lot of grimacing and grunting noises, when he's not repeating Hinch-isms like a trained seal. Detroit deserves better than this. We were so spoiled with Ernie.
