#TexasTech offensive coordinator Mack Leftwich on wide receiver Coy Eakin: “Coy is doing a good job. He had the touchdown at Oregon State to seal the game. He's been great with the ball in his hands. A strong runner. He had the hitch early in the game where he broke a tackle and created an explosive play. He’s doing some good things, blocking, playing with great effort.”

#TexasTech offensive coordinator Mack Leftwich said the team’s effort was responsible for the big rushing plays against Houston. “While there's still some technical things that we can clean up, I thought the effort made up for some of those things, and allowed us to have the explosive runs that we did.”

#TexasTech defensive coordinator Shiel Wood said the team will continue to see a three-man rotation of some type between both safety positions.
