I vividly remember the first call I had with John Wu. It was six years ago, on a Friday, and we connected instantly. One week later, I started at Ava Labs. Since then, @john1wu has been a trusted mentor, partner, and friend, and an incredibly important part of both my journey here and the Avalanche story. Under John's leadership, we helped take Avalanche from an ambitious vision to a global ecosystem. We brought institutions onchain, opened new markets, expanded around the world, and pushed relentlessly toward a future where blockchain becomes part of the infrastructure that businesses and people use every day. I'm deeply grateful for everything John has done for Ava Labs, Avalanche, and for me personally. And I'm especially grateful that we'll continue to benefit from his relationships, judgment, and perspective as he transitions from President to Senior Advisor. I'm also thrilled to congratulate Lydia Chui and Charley Cooper on their new leadership roles. @encycloplydia was the first person I met at Ava Labs. We've worked side by side for years building the business together, and she has become a close friend and confidant. She knows this company inside and out, and her leadership as CFO will be instrumental as Ava Labs enters its next chapter. @CharleyCooper01 is a joy to work with, his experience is remarkable, and I couldn't be more excited for him in this new role. His career has spanned government, finance, business, and blockchain, giving him a rare understanding of what it actually takes to move this technology from an emerging industry into the mainstream. He knows how to create alignment, build organizations, and turn ambitious ideas into action. I can't think of a better person to lead Ava Labs forward as President. We've accomplished a tremendous amount over the past six years. The opportunity ahead is even bigger. The goal has never simply been to build great blockchain technology,  it's to make it useful. Real assets, real businesses, real financial markets, and ultimately hundreds of millions of people onchain. I’m excited to step into the role of President at Ava Labs. I’m grateful to John for his trust and to the entire team for the foundation they have built over the past seven years. I’m also fortunate that John will remain closely involved as Senior Advisor. We are entering an important moment.
