Tokenizing an asset is only half the work. The other half is a market where it can actually trade. Aptos Labs' CBO @SolomonTesfaye_ joined @FINTECHTVglobal at the @NYSE earlier today on what comes next: commodities, public equities, and more fixed income moving onchain, and the connectivity institutions need to trade them once they're there. Eligible @BitGo self-custody clients already reach onchain markets on @DecibelTrade, with every order settled onchain on @Aptos. Taking Stock, with @jd_durkin: terminal.fintech.tv/fintecht…

Block times <25ms. Confidential APT live on mainnet. @DecibelTrade and @shelbyserves both considerably further along than a year ago. That shape is hard to see one release at a time. @TokenRelations' latest @Aptos Annual Report covers the full stretch, and their dedicated Aptos page keeps the record current: stratamedia.co/token-relatio…

Contrarian opinion: While the current fear of AI ending the world is top of mind for everyone, I think a more near-term problem is the scapegoating AI agents for human failures. The headlines will come:  * Drone attack kills friendlies -> AI targeting failed * Bad options trade costs firm billions -> AI made the wrong analysis * Surgery goes wrong -> AI misidentified a tumor * Company pays $50M to a fake vendor -> AI systems approved it Humans are experts at avoiding accountability. And AI is imperfect in achieving its goals or even following them.  True accountability requires a tamper-resistant, verifiable record of the chain of events. The legal system does this through a lengthy discovery process from a blurry timeline, but agents and human interactions are all digital and can be inexpensively captured in real time with high precision. AI capabilities and cost effectiveness are moving faster than any technology we have ever seen. New systems like JEV and rapid advancements in retaining model quality with dramatically less hardware are accelerating this challenge faster than our defenses. Humans are responsible for their intentions and the authority they delegate. Agents implement and execute those intentions. And there is a gray area of human/AI interaction: when to involve a human, when a human has given permissions (e.g. one-shot or blanket), and how to retrace these interactions whether the outcomes are terrific or terrible. What did the human ask for and approve? What authority did the agent have? What information did it receive? What actions did it take? When was a human involved? Where did human language leave ambiguity that should have been clarified? And can any of that history be altered after the fact? Immutable ledgering, powerful auditing tools, and deeply integrated human/AI interaction are necessary for humanity to achieve its full potential. @Aptos @shelbyserves @DecibelTrade are all being built for this imminent reality.
Agents can already work the web we have: sites, APIs, checkout flows. Onchain, the range widens. @AptosLabs' @AveryChing explores agents renting out idle GPU capacity, negotiating terms, and settling in stablecoins - among future use cases Aptos can support. With @devntellxyz

Lots of exchanges out there. How many: * Operate at <25ms block times * Match, execute, and settle fully onchain * Run spot + perps from one cross-margin, multi-collateral account * Protect order flow with an L1-native encrypted mempool * Formally verify critical exchange and risk invariants * 7B volume+ in the first 6 months * Native composable at every layer @DecibelTrade on @Aptos
$7B+ traded on @DecibelTrade. $1B+ of it through Builder Codes. Different apps, one shared orderbook. Wallets, frontends, and bots plug in directly. Every order is settled onchain on Aptos, where every trade burns $APT. Liquidity that doesn't fragment.

Confidential compliant assets with $APT is the latest in a long line of industry firsts: * First production deployment of Block-STM * First production L1 with <25ms block times * First L1 with native orderless transactions using expiring nonces * First L1-native encrypted mempool with no additional trust assumptions * First DAG-BFT architecture combining pipelining + leader reputation * First production deployment of Move Prover formal verification * First full stack onchain exchange that can match the performance of centralized crypto exchanges. * First AI storage that can support sub-second global access Aptos tech is built different.
Confidential $APT is LIVE on Aptos mainnet. What that means: Encrypted balances. Encrypted transfer amounts. Addresses remain visible. Fully opt-in by design. Validators verify a transaction is valid while those amounts stay confidential.

Aptos is almost 4 years old The same themes that funded and informed its technology ~ 8 years ago at Meta are catching major macro tailwinds now There is no need to pretend to be something other than what we always were 1) Open financial infrastructure capable of supporting the needs of billions of everyday users 2) Technology and engineering talent that billion dollar enterprises can trust to support their business Having conviction on the most impactful things to do and making the tradeoffs necessary to win has never been clearer than it is now

I have built my own multi-agent, multi-stage debate harness and ran into the similar issues on evaluation - how did the debate harness do in exploring the breadth of options and selecting the right approach? * Evaluating historical events means models are likely trained on them and benchmark contamination (aka benchmaxxing) * In the unlikely situation where models haven’t been trained on these events, an agent with web access can retrieve the outcome * Asking agents to ignore information relies on the very behavior you’re trying to evaluate These evaluations are different but the point is that objective evaluation of known challenges is difficult with an agent that has access to the world’s information both realtime and embedded in its weights. This is where I believe a fast, private, immutable ledger is a necessity. Not to make the agent smarter, but to create a verifiable record of what it saw, what it did, and what it produced. A record that cannot be erased. At scale, agent trust may depend as much on verifiable execution history as on the model itself. As agents make their way beyond traditional financial risks to open finance, this will be even more important. It’s what @AptosLabs is focused on solving.

Sub 10 GB of memory and >30 tok/s on my M3 Max. Still drains the battery like crazy, but nice work @PrismML! Much more usable than Qwen 3.8 27B.
Today, we’re announcing Ternary Bonsai 2 27B. Based on Qwen3.8 27B, Bonsai 2 27B is 9x smaller than its full-precision counterpart while retaining 98.2% of its aggregate benchmark performance. Two months after the first Bonsai 27B release, the biggest change is quality. The footprint remains 5.9 GB, but the gap to full precision has narrowed materially, with particularly strong gains in agentic coding, multimodal reasoning, and long-horizon tool use. Ternary Bonsai 2 27B is available today under Apache 2.0.

Big thanks to @SECGov paving the way for decentralized technology in a post CLARITY vote world. US will continue to lead the path in open finance and AI on decentralized rails.
🚨 TODAY: The SEC issued an order granting temporary, conditional exemptive relief to Tokenized Securities Venues from the definition of “exchange” in the Exchange Act to trade tokenized NMS stock using innovative permissioned automated market makers and liquidity pools.

Trillions move through card networks and wires. Every hop adds delay and fees. Aptos replaces that with one programmable layer. From @tether USDT and @circle USDC issued natively on Aptos to @Bitso and @yellowcard_app integrating it to move money across Latin America, Africa, and beyond. Aptos is a modern foundation for global payments. Learn more: aptosnetwork.com/use-cases/p…

Agents are starting to act on our behalf. Each action raises the same question: what did it do, and why? That takes a record no one can rewrite after the fact. Permanent, global, and cheap enough to write to constantly. On Aptos, it is. @AptosLabs' @AveryChing with @devntellxyz

If you've already processed more than $3 billion, integrating a new settlement rail isn't an experiment. There needs to be a reason. @juicywayhq had one. Speed. The cross-border payments company chose Aptos to help move capital between African and global markets in seconds instead of days. That difference sounds technical until you're the business waiting for the money. A supplier needs paying. Inventory needs purchasing. Capital is sitting somewhere it isn't useful. Every extra day matters. That's where blockchain performance stops being about TPS and starts being about when the money arrives. Sometimes the best demonstration of Aptos isn't a speed test. It's getting paid days earlier.
