A lot of intellectuals in music will try to balance their snobby taste by admitting to liking some bullshit, it’s to prove “they’re of the people”… but it’s a front, they’re laughing at you. I’m laughing with you.
THE HITCHER (1986) is somehow one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen, a real cinematographic gem of the Road of the American West. It’s also a homoerotic, Hitchcockian nightmare of anxiety dreams & lost innocence. It also has TERRIFIC action sequences. What a picture!
Now listening to PANTERA: A VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER
Heavy, Vulgar, & Downright Nasty. Whether you Love em or hate em, you can’t lie that this album cover is iconic and memorable. I remember when my father played Mouth For War when I was 6 and Thought that was the heaviest shit.
