Then I actually sat with the @Asciidogs article for like 12-15 mins and started getting it.
Bruno saving Elias 4 times is basically the whole idea behind the 4 lives, every dog starts with 4, and 4 is the max, if you lose one later, $BRUNO is what brings it back, that part isn’t live yet tho.
The supply is what really made me slow down.
4,444 at mint. 4,000 commons
4 commons burn into 1 rare, meaning 3 dogs leave the supply every time that happens
So if all the original commons eventually get burned, you’re looking at 1,444 dogs instead of 4,444
But obviously, that only happens if people actually burn, it’s not some automatic mint-day thing
Mint is also GTD, not some FCFS madness

🐍PaperDAO is a community treasury formed to trade Papertrade from its first block.
Papertrade is a synthetic perpetual venue on HyperEVM that launches with an empty liquidity pool and no pre-minted, team, or investor paper. Positions are taken against the pool. Profitable closes are paid from the pool, or queued if it is short. Losses and liquidations mint paper, which is the sole claim on future pool revenue. While tracked liquidity remains under roughly $2 million, each dollar of loss basis mints 100 paper; the rate then decays. Paper begins at zero supply and can be minted only through trading losses.
🐍The DAO’s premise is that the earliest flow receives the most favorable mint rate. By pooling capital, participants can deploy size from the open, then hold the resulting paper, staking yield, and trading PnL in a single treasury. Ownership of that treasury is represented pro rata by $PULP, a daos.world token later redeemable for paper once transfers are enabled. Stated supply is 1.1 billion, with 100 million locked in a Uniswap v3 pool.
