The BID is delighted to be welcoming @patrick_hurley MP to meet with local business owners on 16th October. Patrick is the newly appointed Chair of the Government's Town Centres Parliamentary Group. This roundtable will be a valuable opportunity for local businesses to share their experiences and discuss what needs to happen to support thriving high streets and town and city centres. We’ll be discussing: • The challenges facing local businesses • The future of our high streets & town centres • Support and investment for businesses • Business rates, planning, transport and accessibility • How national policy can support town centres This is an opportunity to make sure the experiences and priorities of businesses on the ground are part of the conversation.
