Our engagement in Kabale extended beyond the #BoUTownHall. Bank of Uganda donated mattresses, bedding, household items, and a 10,000-litre water tank to Kabale Shepherd Centre, a home for former street children. What does the Agricultural Credit Facility look like in practice? In Kabale, 325 beneficiaries have accessed UGX 13.59 billion through the ACF, while 70 more have accessed UGX 636 million through the Small Business Fund. A morning of presentations gave way to a vigorous Q&A, with participants asking questions, seeking clarification, challenging our experts, and sharing their experiences on the financial issues that matter to them.
