Sometimes ya just gotta sit and take it all in. It was a hell of a 2026 growing season. Low temps and snow in the forecast for next week. Final mow this week ahead of blowout and snowmold applications over the coming weeks.

Killer has officially become a @DogsOfTurf now that she has mastered the sprinkler chomp.
The owner of the original farm house has a pup that roams all corners of the property, and lately, I’ve had no choice but to accept her as my own during the work day. Her name….Killer. Don’t let the smile fool ya though, she hunts voles with the best of them. @DogsOfTurf

13,775 feet. The highest peak in the range. At dusk, when the alpenglow turns the granite pink and the valley goes quiet, the Grand Teton is simply one of the most beautiful things on Earth. Alpenglow is the glow that lingers on the Grand Teton just after sunset, when the peaks catch the last light of the day, turning rose, then copper, then deep purple against a darkening sky. It lasts only a few minutes. For those few minutes on a clear evening, the Grand Teton looks lit from within, and Families at Grand Teton Club watch it from their own porch. For those minutes, nothing else exists. This is what you choose when you become a Family here. grandtetonclub.com

Pretty incredible impacts of the timing of autonomous mowing on dollar spot development. On the peak disease date of Aug 12, 2026 there was a 96% reduction in DS when mowed at midnight compared to 9 AM and a 91% reduction when mowed at 3 AM. The pics below tell the story

This was shot on 1x zoom. I think he was circling us so he could size up Eugene for a snack. Eugene lived on the streets of the Wind River Reservation for a year at the beginning of his life so he was unbothered by the “threat”.

Links Golf got its name from the "linksland," the sandy ground between beach and farmland in Scotland, too rough to farm but perfect for a game shaped by wind and firm turf. We don't have an ocean out here, but our routing links the region's mountainous terrain into the agricultural land along the rim of the Teton River, catching that same wind and exposure of the original links courses. Linksland, Idaho style.

The stroll from the sunken punch bowl 14th green to the long par 5 15th tee is pretty magnificent. The prevailing wind will certainly add some flavor to the tee shot on 14, but fear not, it will be your best friend as you stand with driver in your hand on the 600+ yard 15th.

If you're going to start using autonomous mowers at your course, they will need a good home 👇

Growth blanket liners doing their job!
Is that bunker liner, or growth blankets for late season seeding? Why not both?

New backyard. New name for the home robot mower. Clipper Jones — might have to get him a nice Braves decal/sticker job to match his name sake.

Crew member snapped a picture of my right-foot man, Eugene, and I. Oh, and the Tetons are in the shot too — if you squint you can see them kinda in the back there. They’re easy to miss.😉

Not sure I’m buying that these kids have never walk mowed before. Veteran stripeage from the supposedly inexperienced crew.
