Buuu. Era mejor como rivales.
Two Former Rivals Now Officially Under the Same Company, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon Make History 👀📺
For the first time in their history, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon are now under the same corporate roof, with Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery becoming part of the newly combined Skydance company. That means brands that spent decades competing for the same generation of viewers now belong to the same entertainment empire.
Think about what that brings together:
SpongeBob and Adventure Time.
Avatar and Teen Titans.
Danny Phantom and Ben 10.
And now that those franchises ultimately sit under the same parent company, crossovers that once would have required two rival corporations to cooperate are theoretically much easier to make happen. That does not mean any Nickelodeon × Cartoon Network crossover has been announced, but for the first time, the biggest barrier between them is gone.
The channels and brands are still expected to keep their own identities, but creatively, the door is now open wider than it has ever been.
For kids who grew up choosing between the orange splat and the checkerboard, the wildest part is this: one day, those worlds could actually collide.
