Next @nathan_day presented on a range of different projects which he has been working on.
First up were his nostr projects gamestr and attestr. Gamestr is decentralised gaming on nostr. Having launched with a single game (Blockstr.io, which he built with his son) in November 2025 they are now up to 50 games. Attestr aims to use attestations to show what people believed to be true at a given time.
He then presented an update on @btcmap, an open, community-maintained map of the businesses around the world that accept bitcoin. Anyone can add a shop, café, beach-bar, and the community works to ensure the data is up to date. He demonstrated the new functionality which has been unlocked by their recent architectural overhaul.
Finally, he encouraged everyone to sign up for the 2026 Bitfest 19-22nd November at bitfest.uk

A long time coming.
Blink shipped the first bitcoin wallet with a merchant map.
Open source, but the architecture was a data silo. The right idea in the wrong shape.
@btcmap fixed the architecture and kept it open. So we ported it back (and many other wallets adopted a merchant map thanks to them)
Adoption as money lives or dies on where you can actually spend it, and circular economies start with knowing who accepts bitcoin. The map is that on-ramp.
