The federal credit is up to $1,700 a person, $3,400 for a married couple all can be used for tuition, tutoring, materials, special ed.
No hit to the state budget.
Governor Evers already vetoed the opt-in on March 30.
About 30 states said yes.
We didn’t.
A Wisconsin taxpayer can still claim the credit. The money just helps kids in another states. Our children get left out.
That’s unacceptable. We need a governor who will opt in.
