William Jewell College RB MicahJo Barnett tpassed away after a medical emergency during today's game vs. Fort Lewis. Barnett, who had just scored a touchdown before collapsing, received immediate medical attention on the sideline before being taken to a local hospital.

Quincy University Football is sending our thoughts and prayers to the Barnett family, William Jewell Football, William Jewell Athletics, and everyone in the William Jewell community.

Spent some time at QU Stadium in Quincy, Illinois, this afternoon. They call it The Rock. The stadium was built in 1938 and underwent a $4 million renovation in 2014-15, but the original limestone wall still wraps around the field today. That wall is what gives the place its identity. You can tell this is a stadium with some history behind it. It’s home to @QUHawksFootball, which competes in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. HC @CoachKillday is entering his third season leading the Hawks. It was quiet around The Rock this afternoon. But this looks like a pretty damn good place to watch #D2FB on a fall Saturday.
