Can you imagine, though, not being able to find 1/2 a point in any of the 3 hour-long essays to push a student to a 136. Not a point, but half a point.
Apparently, that semi-point is impossible to find!
In Florida, a 136 is required to pass the bar exam. Over the years, I've seen a number of these 135.5's.
1/2 a point = 1/2 a year more till you can get licensed.

Probably a bit counter-intuitive as a human who preps people for the bar exam, but I think it’s a very good thing, and it’s not a close call for me.
Those not using this alien-like technology are putting themselves at a disadvantage. That’s for all (or most) things, including bar prep.
I’m not all that worried that humans will have no part in bar prep or in many other areas with which AI assists. But whether I liked it or not, my students would be using it. Turns out I’m in favor of them doing so (and I use it when tutoring as well).

Recklessness is reasonably common in criminal law, though I agree with Orin that negligence (though not unheard of) is almost entirely seen as not amounting to a degree of fault warranting criminal penalty. And that's a good thing.
We normally treat negligence as a reason for tort liability; you have to pay for the harm. Criminal liability is generally reserved for the most personally culpable conduct, like intentional doing something harmful.
