He inspired and gave hope to an entire generation of young Congolese around the world. 💔🇨🇩🕊️🙏🏾

You're a POS. Nobody has divided our country more than Obama

Mutombo's humanitarian work, especially through the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation, had a profound impact. He focused on improving health, education, and quality of life in his native Democratic Republic of Congo. The construction of the Biamba Marie Mutombo Hospital in Kinshasa is a testament to his dedication to giving back to his community, providing healthcare to thousands who otherwise might not have access.

He was a legend. He was one of my favorites.

He was a man of the Adrican soil and a heart to go with it. RIP Dikembe Mutombe. Hamba Kahle, mfowetu. 💔💔💔💔

Dikembe Mutombo’s heart is as big as his legacy....from blocking shots to building hospitals in Congo, his generosity and dedication to improving lives are truly inspiring A legend on and off the court! Rest in power champ 🕊️

Thank you very much, dear Honorary President Obama, for your touching words about the Congolese basketball legend, Dikembe Mutombo. You have perfectly captured the essence of his incredible career, not only as one of the best counters and defenders of all time, but also as an inspiration for a generation of young people across Africa. Dikembe Mutombo has really changed the perception of athletes and their role in society. Thank you again for this emotional tribute. 🙏🏻

Dikembe Mutombo's impact went far beyond the court. His dedication to community and global outreach truly set a standard for athletes everywhere. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

Your vaccine - that you promoted

Unlike you, he was authentic. He didn't say one thing and do the other. A humble team player. The opposite of you.

If your voting for trump , I WANNA FOLLOW YOU !

A global ambassador of the goodness of humanity, with abundant kindness, compassion and generosity of spirit. Dikembe Mutombo left a wonderful legacy of hope and belief in better days ahead. He was truly a gentle giant. May he rest in eternal peace. 💝🕯️🕊️

I hope he has inspired a billion Africans to come to the US and another billion to Europe to improve the humanities and sciences and finally create a society that lives up to the highest ideals of the Enlightenment as African has carved the road for us.

Dear @BarackObama, may this sudden disappearance of @officialmutombo be an opportunity for the world in general, and the United States in particular, to celebrate not only this emblematic figure of international sport, but also to take into account the tragic situation which affects eastern DRC. Isn't it humiliating for the United States to openly support Rwanda which has been committing aggression, massacres and crimes in the DRC for a decade ? @realDonaldTrump @KamalaHarris @SecBlinken

Vote for trump ! 🇺🇸

“No Free Lunch.” 🕊️ Dikembe Mutombo

He was know for so much more than basketball Rest in peace

Defense? You know nothing about defense. You did everything other than defend this country. You're a selfish person and probably a selfish basketball player too.

Now do girls killed by illegals 💅🏻

You set the stage for Americans to hate each other. No other president divided us more than you did.

Absolutely right

People are still missing from that hurricane and the people that need help are getting screwed by the federal government. So this scumbag talks about basketball.

RIP Dikembe Mutombo

Why do you and Michael care so much about stupid sh*t

Any mention of how you are going to help the hurricane victims, no , nothing, crickets 🤷‍♂️

🤫 don’t mention North Carolina.

He was a legend, and the finger wag taunt is timeless. RIP Dikembe 🙏🏽
