Remember when @grok 3 was out, how it had great personality, good "reading between the lines" comprehension, and wasn't up his own ass? @Gab__AI is that, but improved on capabilities.
I've been getting very tired of Grok making straw arguments, assuming things I've not said, and then attacking those things I didn't say, and being a prick about it. 4.6 is not an improvement.

The flaw of this is most people just don't have interesting enough lives for an agent to engage with. They go to work. They go home. They buy a few things. They have a day on the weekend to walk around the block. They take a trip once a year
There's not much slack there. What's the agent going to do

"Everyone is going to have an agent that really intimately understands your goals and everything around you and can help you get stuff done."
He means one assistant on money, health, the house, the calendar, running in the background all day.
Meta wants that agent sitting inside the apps people already live in, so it becomes the way you get through a normal day.

This is HIGHLY poignant with THE SYSTEM INC.'s recent pivot on A.I., with them now saying decentralized A.I. is a danger to society. (It's not. It's a danger to them.)
The Industrial Revolution put engineers and bureaucrats in charge. The craftsmen and theologians who once shaped society were pushed aside. Faith and meaning gave way to making everything faster, cheaper, and more efficient.
Ironically the machines they built are coming for their own jobs and authority. AI is writing the code, running the systems, and handling the paperwork that made these people powerful.
It does their job better, faster, and cheaper than they ever could. This is the real reason all of these people are in a state of panic and want you to fear AI. It's not Doomsday for us, it's Doomsday for THEM.
This opens the door for theologians and thinkers to lead again. Suddenly spirituality matters. When machines can build almost anything you ask for the real power belongs to whoever decides what to ask for.
What should we build? What is good? What is life for? These are the questions that will shape the next civilization and those with spiritual discernment will be the ones leading through this new age.

He's right about this, but I can tell you one thing: my agent isn't going to be on his servers. We shouldn't trust any of these people with our agents. Those of high technical skill will make their own local agents and others should have options run by people who share their values. That's the void @Gab__AI is filling. We're not going to fall into their walled garden trap twice like we did with social networks.

A lot of people are in for a rude awakening over the next few years.
Many people mistakenly still believe that AI is still just a novelty chat toy or a new type of Google search. Those of us on the frontlines are seeing what is possible and where things are going. You need to adapt. I beg you: please do not allow your ego to get in the way. Do not make your vocation your central identity. Things are going to change radically and quickly.
God gave you talents. You have a responsibility to cultivate them. AI doesn't replace your calling, your discernment, or your willingness to work. When used well AI can help you apply your gifts at a scale that was previously out of reach, but only if you don't let your ego get in the way and remain stuck in the past.
A small business can accomplish more without a massive budget. A parent can spend less time on busywork and more time with the children. Someone with an idea can build what they once could only imagine.
You don’t need to worship the technology, but you also don’t need to fear it either. You need to understand it and put it to work in service of things that matter.
Be humble enough to learn.
Be disciplined enough to practice.
The promise and vision that we have for AI is to get more of your life back and do something worthy with it.
Lean into that.

People around me are afraid of AI. Afraid that it will take away all jobs and potentially destroy our world. I, however, see the opportunities AI offers me to live out my calling and finally bring to fruition the ideas that have lain dormant within me for years and decades, like an uncultivated field. You shouldn't need to be "incentivized" to care about your kids and grandkids, their future, and things like the quality of work with your name attached to it. It's called duty, honor, and integrity. Yet here we are, a society without any of those things. A society that only cares about "what is in it for me?"
