Busy busy at the @Tesla Giga Texas Optimus Factory construction site today so I thought I’d show a mid-altitude 360 flyby with the drone to show the scale and progress of this massive facility that, once completed, will have ~7 million sq ft of production space dedicated to making the next generation V4 Optimus robot. The facility is about 35% completed right now so too soon for major equipment deliveries for installation, but it is getting close to the point where I am expecting to see some interior equipment beginning to arrive on site. Once that starts to occur, we can begin the process of figuring out what each section of the 4-floor structure does what, along with why the E side appears to be of a different architectural design to the rest. VIRGIN ATLANTIC IS ACCELERATING STARLINK ROLLOUT 🛰✈️ The airline completed @Starlink installation on its entire Airbus A350 fleet, completing the rollout about 5 months ahead of schedule, and its Boeing 787s are up next. Virgin Atlantic is working with Boeing to bring Starlink to its entire Dreamliner fleet. The goal is to complete the rollout by the end of this year. Virgin's Airbus A330neos will follow next year.

This is something new, at least at this SCALE, at Giga Texas … hundreds of vehicles, Model Y’s, @cybertruck & Cybercabs being move from the W outbound lot to the E parking garage, filing up inside and on the roof! I even capture a long trail of vehicles in a conga line driving over and into the garage & then emerging on the roof. I know they have stored vehicles to some degree here before, but not at these numbers. What do YOU think is going on?

It looks like there is a massive End of Quarter Direct Delivery event getting ramped up at Giga Texas today, with in-processing tents set up, hundreds of vehicles in queue, very active work with vehicles processing through three new long tent stations & a long line of cars on the E sorting lanes next to the End-of-Line (EOL) facility. Several hundred cars also staged on the S end of the EOL overflow lot too. This is the last weekend of the 3rd quarter and the push for as many deliveries as possible is underway. Congrats to all the new owners picking up their cars this weekend!

Colossus 1 is 150k H100, 50k H200 and 30k GB200. Colossus 2 is 110k GB200 and 440k GB300. Another 220k GB300 will be fully operational next week and another 220k in November. If we get lucky, yet another 220k GB300 by late December.
