Running a pace of just over 5 minutes per mile, freshman Matthew King placed 36th (out of 141) at the Texas A&M Invitational with an 8K time of 25:35.9.
The women were led by Lucy Benton with a 5K time of 19:13.2 on the Watts XC Course.
Next week, the Bears will have full crews for The Southern Showcase in Alabama.
