One of the biggest mistakes in writing is when an author starts writing dialogue without truly knowing their characters. When you fully develop your characters first, their authentic voice emerges naturally, making it much easier to establish the right tone, craft compelling narrative, and build a genuine connection among the author, the characters, and the readers.
