The litecoin:native rally is not being driven by ETF demand.
Futures open interest added $270 million in one week to reach $670 million, closing in on its yearly peak.
Over that same period, spot ETF inflows totaled just $2.8 million.
The last time leverage reached these levels in January, Litecoin collapsed from above $80 to $53.

UPDATE: @bitget has revised its security incident losses to approximately $387.5M following comprehensive onchain tracing across EVM, XRP, Zcash, and TRON networks, with the breach fully contained.
A recovery bounty program is now live offering 5% for voluntary freezing and 5% for recovery.
The full withdrawal plan will be announced by September 26 at 4:00 AM UTC.

UPDATE: President Trump reports a productive meeting with President Xi.
He notes that both sides discussed renaming Artificial Intelligence to "Super Intelligence".
According to Trump, President Xi seemed to like the new name.
He added that everyone agreed on the term.
Trump announces at the @UN that the U.S. will officially rename AI to “super intelligence” (S.I.) in all government documents.
His reasoning: the word "artificial" makes it sound fake.
He also formally rejected any global framework to regulate the technology.

JUST IN: Strategy has proposed paying dividends every calendar day across all four of its US listed preferred securities.
Dividends on $STRF, $STRC, $STRK, and $STRD would accrue 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays, paid on the next business day.
The change remains subject to a shareholder vote on October 28.

Federal prosecutors have seized $84 million across bank accounts tied to payments firm Capstone.
Over $700 million flowed through a single account at Wells Fargo, with prosecutors alleging the unlicensed firm disguised itself as an IT services provider while routing transfers for Tether and Bitfinex.
Tether and Bitfinex stated their assets at the intermediary bank were limited and denied knowledge of any alleged fraud.

Inflation concerns among family offices surged to 63% this year, up from 37% in 2025.
Over the same period, concerns regarding tariffs and trade disputes plunged from 60% to 18%.
Despite the inflation spike, capital is not fleeing to defensive assets.

More than 99% of the stolen XRP is held across five wallets.

Bitcoin could get Zcash style privacy!
@allocinitxyz has proposed Shielded Bitcoin, which is a system that would hide Tx amounts, senders and recipients using zero knowledge proofs.
It could run on top of the existing Bitcoin L1, without requiring a soft fork.
ZCash zcash:native is up 17% today, and privacy is suddenly part of the crypto conversation again.
WHY THE SURGE?
1. Paradigm’s Matt Huang says they own zcash:native, calling it a “private complement to Bitcoin”
2. Zcash Labs is putting $80K into Ledger support for Ironwood shielded zcash:native.
If privacy is actually coming back, can zcash:native keep leading, or does monero:native catch up?

JUST IN: KelpDAO has FILED A LAWSUIT against LayerZero and co-founder Bryan Pellegrino over the rsETH bridge exploit.
Kelp claims LayerZero’s security failures allowed the exploit to happen in the first place.
But LayerZero publicly blamed Kelp rather than take responsibility, according to Kelp.
