JUST IN: Strategy has proposed paying dividends every calendar day across all four of its US listed preferred securities. Dividends on $STRF, $STRC, $STRK, and $STRD would accrue 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays, paid on the next business day. The change remains subject to a shareholder vote on October 28.

Federal prosecutors have seized $84 million across bank accounts tied to payments firm Capstone. Over $700 million flowed through a single account at Wells Fargo, with prosecutors alleging the unlicensed firm disguised itself as an IT services provider while routing transfers for Tether and Bitfinex. Tether and Bitfinex stated their assets at the intermediary bank were limited and denied knowledge of any alleged fraud.

Inflation concerns among family offices surged to 63% this year, up from 37% in 2025. Over the same period, concerns regarding tariffs and trade disputes plunged from 60% to 18%. Despite the inflation spike, capital is not fleeing to defensive assets. A net 34% of family offices increased their equity exposure over the past year, and 37% plan to add even more to global developed stocks over the next 12 months.

Rosfinmonitoring says more than 80 Russian banks are now connected to a transparent blockchain platform to analyse crypto transactions and flag potentially suspicious activity. Only five banks were connected to the system in 2025.

UPDATE: $XRP was the largest chunk of the Bitget hack: 102.97M XRP, worth around $157.5M. More than 99% of the stolen XRP is held across five wallets. Bitcoin could get Zcash style privacy! @allocinitxyz has proposed Shielded Bitcoin, which is a system that would hide Tx amounts, senders and recipients using zero knowledge proofs. It could run on top of the existing Bitcoin L1, without requiring a soft fork.

JUST IN: KelpDAO has FILED A LAWSUIT against LayerZero and co-founder Bryan Pellegrino over the rsETH bridge exploit. Kelp claims LayerZero’s security failures allowed the exploit to happen in the first place. But LayerZero publicly blamed Kelp rather than take responsibility, according to Kelp.

Bitget launched the fund in 2022 and previously committed to keeping it above $300M. At the end of August, it held around $432M.
