The owner of Euro Spa and Beauty Lounge, in Shiashie, Jessica Hartog, has been arrested and arraigned before an Accra High Court over her alleged involvement in the smuggling of the nearly four tonnes of cocaine intercepted by French Authorities.
She is alleged to be the fiancé of one of the key figures in the operation and was arrested alongside three other suspects. She faces charges of conspiracy to commit a crime and the unlicensed exportation of narcotic drugs.
The suspect has since pleaded not guilty and has been remanded in custody, awaiting her rearraignment on 13th October, 2026.
