I can tell you wholeheartedly there are very few people walking this earth who are as genuine and authentic as he is. As a man raising kids, he is someone I aspire to be like. Thoughtful, considerate, and just the best kind of leader in every way. Everyone who knows him loves him. Forever grateful that the man who likes to give out the roses finally gets a bouquet of his own. Daniel's @veefriends story is such a fun one (check out his episode of the @VEEFAMsessions with @mistirmesser to hear it, such an amazing episode). Daniel was actually introduced to @garyvee content through his dad, which also opened the door to VeeFriends but even more importantly a stronger bond with his father. Daniel won a GOO Gratitude Gorilla in 2021 and the momentum picked up within him to get more involved in the brand. While at the hospital for the birth of his first child, he applied for a community position at VF. He took the job in September 2021, leaving his corporate gig behind, and has tirelessly worked his way up to his current (and supremely important) position of Head of Community. Some people like being the lead singer of the band. Daniel is the drummer who doesn't need the limelight but is absolutely essential for keeping everyone on pace. He has been instrumental in so many important initiatives that have helped grow this amazing community we have. There's no community speakers stage at VeeCon 2 and 3 without him. There's also no Community Sketch Artists in @topps Chrome without his tireless effort and persistence. I will forever cherish the call I shared with him where he told me I would be a sketch artist in 2025 Chrome. Core memory unlocked and the only person happier than me was Daniel because this man enjoys nothing more than making people happy. When something special happens in the community via surprise and delight, you won't see his name in lights when it happens but rest assured he most likely had his hands in it. When something doesn't go as planned, he is the first person there to help community members any way he can. They don't make people like Daniel anymore, they just don't exist, and we are so lucky to have him in our universe guiding this community forward. Shoutout @Corso52, @BrofitAZ, @LordMandrakeNFT and @BicepBarista for helping me make the surprise happen at San Diego Comic-Con.
