NIGERIA 🇳🇬 - AZERBAIJAN🇦🇿 I held a bilateral telephone engagement with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov, during which we deliberated on strengthening Nigeria-Azerbaijan relations by expanding collaboration across political, economic and humanitarian domains as well as enhancing multilateral cooperation. Nigeria and Azerbaijan established formal diplomatic relations on March 11, 1992, and continue to build ties through multilateral platforms, economic cooperation, and educational exchanges. Our two nations coordinate closely within international organizations, including the the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to H.E President @officialABAT for congratulating me and assuring @namyouthorg the Nigerian government’s unwavering support. This support is invaluable and without it we could achieve so much less. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the administration’s support throughout my official duties particularly during the elections.

Nothing normal will fix Nigeria. We need a Lee Kwan Yu approach to many of our problems including ethics. In MM2, an airport staff using the toilet emerged naked in search of water. He found nothing amiss and was simply curious enough to engage in a conversation. Ridiculous!
