This is bunk from Elon. They have laid off most of the experts, they're bankrupting most of the partner orgs, have withdrawn from WHO, and muzzled CDC.
What's left is a fig-leaf effort to cover their asses politically.
Elon Musk: "We will make mistakes. We won't be perfect ... so for example, with USAID, one of the things we accidentally canceled very briefly was ebola prevention."

I’m sure that when the ‘hire on merit only’ crowd find out that women are generally better candidates for long term Spaceflight they’ll tell NASA to stop hiring men.
Equal performance, but lower mass, requiring fewer consumables and better radiation shielding around reproductive organs.
If they’re going to ignore the multitude of good reasons for a diverse astronaut corps then it’s time to start factoring in these advantages, otherwise NASA is wasting money by putting big men into space.

While Tansy was in hospital, her parents stayed nearby in Ronald Macdonald House - which provides free accommodation to families of critically ill children. Tomorrow, Tansy’s parents are walking 23 miles - in kilts! - to raise funds for the House.

Four years ago, little Tansy was rushed into surgery at to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Glasgow - losing consciousness as she suffered an intracranial bleed. The surgery was successful and gorgeous, fun-loving Tansy is still with us…
