I feel so sorry for him, but it’s over Michael.

I’d prefer to burn the league to the ground than accept cheating as norm.
Remember when Serie A relegated their biggest club, Juventus? The league fell off so badly that nobody watches it again. Even when Juventus returned, the league has continued struggling till today. That's the same thing that will happen if they relegate City. They need to look at the bigger picture before destroying the very league they're trying to protect.

Suprised he didn’t deny it and drag the broadcaster through a 10 year legal battle
🚨🗣️ Enzo Maresca: "The empty seats tonight? I think those that were in the stadium were good. The last game also against Ipswich they were top." "And now we have next week two games at home against Brighton, and I have no doubt that the environment will be top again."

Bloody hell Piers. Messi has won 8 of them. If he’s not in your top 3, you may have issues. All 3 of those players are sensational and fair enough if Messi isn’t first but he has to be close. Messi will win this btw.

Someone told me today that Harry Kane is England’s 17th top scorer of all time if you just count his penalties. He’s had 31 penalties attempts and scored 26. Roughly a penalty every 4 games. Is that normal now? This isn’t a knock on Kane btw he has done well to score them

To put it into perspective: Shearer 1 pen every 9 games Lampard 1 pen every 10 games Beckham 1 pen every 16 games Rooney 1 pen every 17 games If you compare success rates as well if Rooney had taken a pen every 4 games he’d have another 23 goals. Amazing how many pens given

My view on Bruno is, I don’t blame him for wanting to leave. He’s done his part repeatedly with little to no support. Club has let him down more than he’s let the club down. He’s the only reason we’re playing CL football this season. Let him go if he wants, deserves it

If I’m Newcastle United owners and City are only punished for a season I’m spending a billion in the summer. I’m paying HUGE wages and fees. You wouldn’t blame them. Question is what punishment would put them off doing that? Forced sale and image ruined is probably it

Some people really are mental. As if those irregularities didn’t help on the pitch. Of course they did. Massively. At best for City fans everything City have done with Abu Dhabi is tainted and forever linked with cheats like Armstrong & Johnson etc. That’s what City is now
Financial irregularities getting the same punishment as match fixing is pathetic from the prem. A fine is the most that should happen

The two things that should be non-negotiable is that owners sell and titles voided. After that I personally think whatever will be will be. I think they probably should have 100-150 points to work through and a transfer ban of 3-4 years but if Owners go then justice is done
Man City to face HUGE points deduction which will guarantee relegation - and more could come next season - but they won't be sent down to League Two, insiders tell OLIVER HOLT trib.al/7JKSMj8

Seem to remember that Libertines and Biffy were super small gigs. Also remember missing the Vines playing and all my mates were like you’ve just missed the next big band. 😂 Just remember coming away from that festival thinking how great so many acts were.

Every day that goes by I think City will end up with less and less punishment. PL should have announced intended sanctions when they were found guilty. They didn’t and to me it makes it feel like they were not brave enough to truly believe they’d end up implemented

Premier league below La Liga and equal to Copa del Rey. 😂😂😂😂
Esta es la verdadera jerarquía de títulos del fútbol. Sé que más de uno va a echar espuma por la boca viendo el orden pero me la pela..

I’ve heard some bs in my time but bloody hell.
🗣"It was NOT #ManCity who turned football into a business. Three clubs were central to those things. Arsenal, Liverpool & Utd. They started exclusive comps where only a SELECT group of teams qualified for it —It was opportunistic and capitalist" 😡 🎥 [steven_mcinerney/TikTok]

Am I the only one that thought we were playing 3 at back today with Amad and Dalot as WBs?
Is Mazraoui playing CB when Yoro is playing RB? Has Carrick gone mad?
37
Said it before. We never look like scoring 2 and always look like conceding at least 1. Won’t get many wins that way. That’s how it turned out today. We’re just not good enough. If there was some positives, thought Yoro, Maguire and Baleba played well.
47
Huge 20mins for United and Carrick. Just never expect us to score 2 and always expect us to concede.

Be triple that for Conte. He’s already counting on it.
Manchester United would reportedly have to pay around £5m–£10m to sack Michael Carrick and his staff. But failing to qualify for the Champions League next season alone could cost the club around £100m in revenue. So, are we really trying to save £10m now, only to risk losing £100m later? 🤦‍♂️
