A 2013 Peterbilt derated. DEF / Aftertreatment codes. Likely I’m doing something against the law taking this video, but it doesn’t feel unsafe at 12 mph on a lonely road. I’ve owned the truck since new, and I know, delete it…. @epaleezeldin @LeeMZeldin @SecRollins Help!

The older I get, the better I understand my Dad getting up two hours before dawn and wondering why everybody wasn’t busy.

A big bank will charge you a $45 overdraft fee the second your account overdraws by a few cents But a community bank will have some lady named Marge give you a phone call where she calls you sweetheart and asks if you can come by the bank within a week to fix your account and enjoy some homemade pecan pie they give every customer

Food for thought. Is this reflecting a red hot used tractor market? Or farmers rejecting “we invented it, so you gotta buy it” technology? Maybe nobody really wanted a tractor w/a Bluetooth Latte Warmer? They just wanted dependable horsepower at a fraction of new iron price?

Josh Turek skipped the initial vote to create the MEGA program the legislature is now amending to help bring the largest steel plant in the U.S. to Iowa. He couldn’t be bothered to show up, and trust me — that matters to Iowans. Hopefully he isn’t too busy to vote today with thousands of good-paying jobs on the line!

The FFA represents a very special institution to the Secretary @SecRollins These pics from her office. I’m sure the FFA’s best future as is of 💯 importance to her.
“…with a faith born not of words but of deeds.” Those words from the FFA Creed represent the Future Farmers of America organization that changed my life and the lives of generations of young Americans. There is no American future without American farmers. My FFA used to be the very foundation for that future. But this is NOT that same FFA. These misguided actions do not reflect that legacy. They are wrong, deeply troubling, and demand answers. I’m looking into it. Stand by. @NationalFFA

Diesel fuel is at record prices. A few states have authorized using Dyed (Red) Farm Fuel to ease the problem. Maybe the ask isn’t enough. Should trucks with “Farm Plates” be authorized to permanently be able to use “red” fuel with no highway taxes?
64% Permanent use of red fuel
10% Temporary use of red fuel
26% Stay with Clear Fuel

Every part number needs to be Google'd and Amazon'd. You'll cut your parts bill in half or better.
Parts markup is absolutely insane these days

Yesterday, at the football game, several in the grain trade asked: “Beans are $1, $2 over at the processor. If you get a day next week, will you cut some?“ This is an average field in NE 1/4 IA There isn‘t any way basis improvement makes these green soybeans ripe next week.

Live look this morning at where we harvested the 31% corn to test the dryer. Looking at the forecast, I anticipated it getting wetter.
