My thoughts on 👇
- We were the better team but created very little.
- Nyoni was impressive, we actually lost control when he went off.
- MacAllister was very good, ran the midfield but had to score that header.
- Jacquet is unbelievable, barring the goal he absolutely dominated Havertz, best French CB in the PL.
- Araújo is a beast defensively, LFC need to do everything they can to make it a permanent deal.
- Gakpo was terrible, he has been back to 25/26 Gakpo last 3 games.
- Isak was absolutely anonymous, these are the games we paid the big money for, saying that we created nothing for him.
- Barcola was okay in patches but disappeared out of the game 2nd half, you need more from a 130 million pound attacker.
- Goal came from mistake by Alisson but he was the reason we weren't 2-0 down with a World Class save.
- Zero big chances created, zero shots on target, that's massive reflection on Wirtz performance, that's his job, and he failed to create.
- Szoboszlai offered very little when he came on

I understand why he did it, but taking Nyoni off was the wrong move from Iraola. He was the one setting the tempo and moving us up the pitch. As soon as he went off, it stagnated.

I’m fucking furious at Isak for not making more of that Timber pull. It’s as standard a penalty as you see and he hasn’t got it because (a) he doesn’t flop to the ground and (b) he doesn’t even ask for it
