4 years ago at #GDC I met Jen randomly at our booth. I was looking for a writers assistant for what would become @ArtificialNext and she was looking for an opportunity. I hired her the week after. Fast forwards 4 seasons and she rose up to co-show runner. #GDC2022 (thread)

Adding some details. At the time I had many applicants who had or seemed incredibly qualified for a traditional TV show writers assistant. But given the nature of what Artificial would become (interactive/twitch/live) I was really looking for someone with TV and game elements.

At the time Jen studied screenwriting and game writing/design. She had created and produced her own web series and She hustled herself up to SF for GDC. Interest piqued.

Then off to the races with @ArtificialNext on @Twitch. Season 1 wins a @PeabodyAwards. Season 2 wins @TheEmmys and Season 3 wins @TheWebbyAwards. As we innovate season after season, Jen elevates each year, where she hits co-showrunner in season 4
