We talked about Cedric Lodge, the Harvard Medical School morgue manager who spent years stealing donated remains (faces, skin, brains, heads), and selling them with his wife.
Not on the dark web.
Over Facebook and PayPal.
Some buyers were even let into the morgue to pick what they wanted. Prosecutors said skin was sold to be turned into leather for a book.
A man’s face was sold separately.
Families donated those bodies so students could learn. Harvard is paying $53 million.
Grateful they had me on to talk about it.

🚨BREAKING: Kieran Ansley (43), A former NICU nurse at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Michigan has been charged with child abuse after a premature baby girl was found with multiple broken bones, bruises and a tongue that had turned blue and black.
This baby was born at just 23 weeks weighing 1 lb., 1 oz. She fought for MONTHS in the hospital and was reportedly only two days away from finally going home when her mother discovered the injuries.
Hospital records reportedly showed 32 entries into the baby’s room that night. Kieran Ansley accounted for 27 of them!!!! 🤯😡
He was fired and is now facing four child abuse charges, including two felony counts.
Thankfully, the little girl is now 10 months old, home with her family and her grandfather says she’s doing “wonderful.”
I genuinely cannot comprehend how ANYONE could look at a tiny, defenseless premature baby and harm her!! WHY??
Unconscionable and demonic are the only words I can come up with for this.

🚨JUST IN: Susan Sarandon was arrested during an anti-Netanyahu protest outside the United Nations in NYC!
She was among dozens of protesters taken into custody just ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to the U.N. General Assembly.
Protesters blocked the roadway and were ordered by NYPD to move. Those who remained were taken into custody.
Actress Hannah Einbinder, Democratic congressional candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier and NYC Council member Chi Ossé were ALSO among those arrested.
Well… that escalated quickly! 😬😂

I genuinely cannot imagine seeing someone say they were diagnosed with cancer YESTERDAY and thinking, “You know what she really needs right now? My unsolicited opinion on her career and whether or not fame is right for her.”
Sir, I am discussing CANCER. I’m not accepting appointments with career counselors. I’m having a hard enough time processing all of this alone without strangers using it as an opportunity to critique my life choices.
Please, for the love of God, learn how to read a room. 🤦🏻♀️

It is really amazing how quickly the word “cancer” puts everything into perspective!!
No matter how “treatable” or it is. No matter how good the prognosis is. Hearing a doctor tell you that you have cancer does something to you.
Suddenly the things you were stressed about yesterday don’t feel quite as important. The people who show up matter a little more. The people who don’t become a bit clearer. And you start thinking a lot harder about where you’re spending your time, your energy and your heart.
I’m going to be okay. I know that. But I also don’t think I’m going to come out of this week looking at everything in my life exactly the same way I did before it.

🚨UPDATE: Trump and Xi just wrapped up their meeting at the White House!!
The current U.S.–China trade truce, which was going to expire November 10, has now been extended through January 10.
They also discussed some pretty big issues including trade, AI, Taiwan and Iran.
Trump called the meeting “great,” but so far there doesn’t appear to have been any major breakthrough announced on Taiwan or Iran.
I’ll update if we get more details about what was actually agreed to behind closed doors.

Their president told the crowd that if Muslims get out and vote, their vote can make a difference in Houston and Harris County.
However, there’s another HUGE part of this story people should know.
Texas House DEMOCRATIC leader Gene Wu was at the SAME event. He urged the crowd to vote out the State Board of Education members who approved the new curriculum and called on Asian Americans to unite politically against Republicans.

🚨BREAKING: A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to IMMEDIATELY restore White House access to CNN, MS NOW and Politico!!
President Trump banned them from the White House just last week, accusing them of reporting “fiction and lies.”
Judge Timothy Kelly has temporarily BLOCKED that ban, citing that the outlets are most likely to succeed on their claim that their press passes were revoked “without adequate due process”.
The order is in effect for 14 days while the legal battle continues. I’ll keep you updated.
