CT WEEKLY RUNDOWN For this week, a lot happened- hacks, shutdowns. Here are a few you should know. 1. $BTC BTC recovered to the $77K–$79K range after the Clarity vote failed, then pushed back to $81K on Friday. BTC ETFs saw ~$433M in inflows and ETH ETFs ~$144M. ~$230M in shorts were wiped out as BTC cleared $80K. Speculations: is the bear market over? 2. $ZEC ZEC hit a new ATH around $1,589. Privacy, Grayscale/ZCSH, Paradigm exposure, the NU7 vote and growing Zcash NFT activity were all being discussed. NU7 passed with 98.9% supporting continued BTC-style halvings. A whale inactive for ~10 months also moved a large position, while ZEC shorts on Hyperliquid got squeezed. Are we seeing ZEC at $5K soon? 3. Clarity Act The September 15 Senate vote failed 49–50, short of the 60 votes needed. There was zero Democratic support, Tillis also voted no as part of a procedural strategy to potentially bring it back. Lummis called the bill dead😂. Ethics concerns around Trump-family crypto profits and bank concerns over stablecoin rewards remained major sticking points. I do understand their POV concerning trump. 4. SEC On September 17, the SEC introduced a five-year Innovation Exemption for tokenized NMS stocks on permissioned onchain venues. It includes conditions around issuer opt-outs, volume caps, trading halts and leverage. CFTC market-structure rules also went to the White House, while Coinbase filed for US single-stock perps and Morpho started lending against Coinbase stock tokens. 5. Arc Circle’s Arc mainnet went live September 16. USDC is used for gas, finality is sub-second and it’s EVM-compatible. Aave V4, Morpho and Uniswap were among the day-one apps. Circle minted 10B ARC but said it was not a public token sale. There’s also no official user airdrop. Arc saw ~$411M DEX volume and ~7.8M transactions, with launchpads responsible for ~82% of volume. Arguspad did ~$202M, Minara ~$36M and Tolly ~$20M. By September 18, most TVL was sitting in Morpho and Aave at ~$339M. 6. Arc launchpad ACTFUN became the main Arc launchpad incident. After launching on September 16, its founder deleted Telegram and other socials. The team said a deployment key had been exposed. ~590.9M ACT moved to the app’s launch-admin wallet within seconds. ~$50K USDC also left Arc, while the same cluster received ~20.8 ETH on Base. Fake ARGUS/TOLLY contracts, duplicate ARC BROKERS tokens and fake ARC airdrop checkers also appeared. Long.supply was flagged over its custom stock-token bridge and admin sweep risk. Hopefully they are safu. 7. NFTs Most of the attention was around Zcash NFTs. zkSNARKs closed its auction with 16,971 bids for 8,000 NFTs at a 1.5 ZEC clearing price. ~25,305 ZEC came in, with ~13,309 ZEC refunded. Supply: 8,000 auction / 1,000 SNARKLIST / 1,000 treasury. Right now, the attention is on Zcash NFTs, so position accordingly. 8. Hacks - rsETH / Gnosis Safe: ~$7.7M–$7.8M drained. - D’CENT: 1,552 XRPL wallets emptied, ~2M XRP. - Nostra: ~$3.5M oracle incident; money market halted. - Flamincome: ~$346K. - BonfireSwap: ~$50K. - Startale: ~$2.9K. - Haruko: access-token incident affecting 15 clients. - Revolut: 680 customer files exposed, including passports and selfies.

CT WEEKLY RUNDOWN For this week: 1. BTC lost $80K BTC started the week around $80K before losing the level and dropping toward $76K–$77K as hotter inflation data, oil above $100 and rising yields hit the market. Liquidations also stacked up, with hundreds of millions wiped out. If you’re not so good at trading, you should probably just avoid perps with high leverage this period. 2. ZEC It pushed to a new ATH around $1,300 before coming down to between $1,050–$1,220. Will we see new levels? We actually might. 3. Liquid Network got hit for $320M A bug in Liquid’s Elements code allowed an attacker to mint roughly 4,000 unbacked L-BTC and drain around 4,000 BTC worth $320M from the federation. The attacker returned roughly 3,400 BTC and kept about 598.5 BTC, calling it a bounty 😂😂. Keys weren’t stolen, but Liquid still had to pause the network before restarting transactions later in the week. 4. Clarity Act: draft dropped but not passed yet. The Senate dropped a 630-page revised Clarity Act this week. One of the biggest changes was around non-decentralized DeFi trading protocols, which could face CFTC registration and BSA/AML requirements. The vote is set for September 15. It’s a cloture vote to start debate, so the bill hasn’t become law yet. 5. Robinhood Chain The AMC drama continued, with the argument over whether issuers should have a say in tokenized versions of their stocks. Meanwhile, $PONS stayed trending and RH-native casino, NFTs and memecoin activity continued. 6. More hacks because apparently one wasn’t enough - Nomic had a roughly $3.15M BTC-related incident. - ether.fi’s Liquid/AtomicQueue was drained for around 15.45 ETH. There were also smaller incidents around Symbiosis, BeatSwap and XRP Healthcare. And scammers are already using the Liquid and Trezor incidents to push fake compensation and phishing links. We need to be extra cautious this period. 7. TradFi Nasdaq put $100M into Payward/Kraken at a $21B valuation, while Coinbase and Moov announced plans around bringing stablecoins to 1,000 community banks. Tokenized assets were also sitting around $346B across 47 types. And Circle’s Arc mainnet is still scheduled for September 16. 8. NFTs… Nothing much here. Zec Punks rode the ZEC pump, and a lot of people are anticipating the Arc mainnet, as some NFTs are in the works and waiting. Not exactly a 2021 NFT week, but we did see some activity this week.
