"Who are you?" makes you hand over your full name, address, date of birth, and more, often just to prove you're not a bot.
"Are you a unique human?" is the question Polkadot asks, and you can answer it without giving up your identity or being tracked across apps.
What matters is that you're a real person, not where you live or who you are.

Push notifications shouldn't be a spam vector.
With Avidity, you decide who can notify you. Every notification comes from a signed, backend-verified event, checked against your whitelist before it ever reaches you.
Tokens stay on the backend where no peer ever sees yours, and nothing reaches you unless you've approved the sender first.

Please note that Subsquare now allows the Referendum proposer to set filters on comments. By default, it now filters out 0-DOT accounts, accounts with no identity, self-deleted comments, and comments seen as spam by their automated filter.
All comments are still there - you just have to click on the "Filter" button and turn off the filters you don't care about to see them.
