We have a fun early season matchup for this week’s NHL on 9 Australia broadcast. The Ducks have looked really strong to open up their season and they’ll head to Winnipeg to take on the currently 2-0-1 Jets. @KenDaneykoMSG and I will bring it to you 11 am AEDT Saturday.

I was impressed with EMU yesterday. They controlled the trenches on both sides of the ball and Noah Kim is a good veteran QB. Look out for the Eagles in the MAC. For UMass, they made some mistakes they haven’t made all year. Progress is never linear, but they are still on track.

Amherst is going to be rocking tomorrow. Can’t wait for kickoff between @UMassFootball and @EMUFB. Winner goes to 2-0 in the MAC.
UMass is sold out this weekend against Eastern Michigan, the school’s first sellout since 2014. UMass is 4-0 under second-year coach Joe Harasymiak and barreling toward the program’s first-ever bowl game. They are expecting more than 17,000 fans at McGuirk Alumni Stadium.

How remarkable has this UMass turnaround been? The Minutemen have scored more points through four games this year than the scored all of last season. And on defense, a unit that gave up almost 40 points a game last year is holding opponents to less than 13 per game this year.
