The real test of a project isn’t when everything is going right.
It’s what happens when something goes wrong.
On August 22, a vulnerability in a shared Cosmos EVM module was exploited across several chains, with KiiChain among the networks affected.
But the response is where the story gets interesting.
The team apologized, communicated openly, and kept the community updated as the situation developed.
The CEO,
@DanyelArenas, was also transparent and stayed publicly accessible through X Spaces and live sessions.
They didn’t disappear when things got uncomfortable. They stayed in the conversation, worked through the knots, and kept moving.
By August 28, KiiChain announced that the network was fully operational and producing blocks again.
But the response didn’t stop at getting the network back online.
The team went back to building.
On September 2, KiiChain announced its selection to provide settlement, transaction-data and cross-border FX infrastructure for the Banco Agrario–Merke Plaza initiative in Colombia.
That puts KiiChain’s infrastructure behind real financial activity, while the existing institutions continue handling their banking and compliance roles.
And it didn’t stop there.
On September 8, KiiChain announced another expansion involving Financiera Juriscoop and Banco Agrario, with institutional Colombian peso liquidity coming onto its FX rails.
So when I look at the comeback, I don’t just see the network coming back online.
I see a team dealing with a setback, communicating through it, recovering, and then continuing to execute on the bigger financial-infrastructure vision.
SETBACK → RESPONSE → RECOVERY → CONTINUED EXECUTION
A comeback isn’t pretending the setback never happened.
It’s what happens after it.
That’s why
$KII is interesting to me.
Explore it, stay informed, and see what’s happening around it for yourself.
