Hey @BioRender, I signed up for a 14-day free trial as a brand-new user weeks ago, but your system immediately charged my card $39+ $ 17 USD and completely bypassed the trial window. I've already emailed support about 2 weeks ago.

Great tool but awful customer service. I just spent more >$1000 on a team plan but lost access to my account less than 24h later. How can I talk with a human to fix it? The chatbot is useless, it's impossible to reach a human via the hotline, and no one responds to emails.

Hi @BioRender,
I started a free trial on Feb 7, tried it once, never logged in again. It auto-renewed for 7 months - $273 total.
Support said cannot authorize beyond 39$. Your own logs show zero activity from Feb 8 to Aug 24.
Can someone take a second look?

Hi @BioRender, please could someone help me with my refund request? I was accidentally charged €440 for an annual Premium plan while my free trial was still active. I cancelled and contacted Support immediately. I'm a student and this is a huge amount for me. Help please :(

This happened on August 12. I contacted BioRender Support by email that same day, immediately after noticing the accidental charge and cancelling the subscription.
The email associated with my BioRender account and refund request is davidcollis080@gmail.com.

Hi @BioRender I made two support tickets along with several calls but I have yet to receive a reply regarding my refund request! It was an unauthorized charge of $180 and I never used any premium features!! The chatbot would never connect me to a human either... help me!

Email, phone, chat — all automated/AI responses, no meaningful support.
If you can take customers’ money instantly, you need real billing support.

AI platforms at their best aren't that perfect for drawing scientific schematics. Not what I will encourage anyone to use for a paper quality publication.
BioRender is a good platform for a nice drawing. The only drawback is that their premium subscription is too costly!
