BitSummit had a huge jump in attendees this year, from 58,000 in 2025 to 68,000 this year. BitSummit is not only the most important indie event in Japan, but also one of the most important in the world. Gaming events are so much fun, but more and more showfloors are becoming more about services, peripherals and tech companies, and space for indie games is disappearing. BitSummit stands tall among all these larger events for one simple reason: it's just full of games!! A big congrats to the entire BitSummit team, and I'm so excited to see how it grows for 2027!
