BTC Balkans 2026 is the second edition of the Balkan Bitcoin conference. The conference is created for people who are just beginning to explore Bitcoin, as well as for advanced users, enthusiasts, and maximalists. Our goal is to explain Bitcoin in a clear, accessible, and easy-to-understand way — what it is, why it was created, which problems it solves, and how it can be useful in real life. Is Bitcoin simply a cryptocurrency? A financial instrument? Digital gold? Or something much more? Over the course of two days, we will explore Bitcoin from different perspectives — technology, money, freedom, independence, business, investment, store of value, and lifestyle. Community is also a key part of BTC Balkans. That is why we have planned enough time and space for meetings, conversations, and networking. Our ambition is to connect Bitcoin communities not only in Bulgaria, but across the Balkans, bringing together people, ideas, and projects from the region and around the world. 🎤 Meet Vladislav “Vlad” Dramaliev — one of the speakers at BTC Balkans 2026! Vlad has worked with Bitcoin since 2013, when he co-founded bitcoini.com — the first Bulgarian online bitcoin brokerage. He is a founding member of the Bulgarian Bitcoin Association and the founder and director of the Bithope Foundation — the first NGO in Europe funded entirely by bitcoin donations. For more than a decade, the foundation has helped charities raise and use Bitcoin, and today it supports education and adoption initiatives across Bulgaria and the region. In 2019, he became one of the first Bulgarians to earn the Certified Bitcoin Professional credential from the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4).
