pretty amazed witnessing π§ #bitmap devs actually bringing the "decentralized metaverse on bitcoin" vision to life
currently we have TWO 3D bitmap metaverse builder / explorer apps using INTEROPERABLE DATA STANDARDS = builds in one app also renders in the other π€ both apps substantially improving / becoming more fully featured & aesthetically impressive with each new version ποΈ
with zero VC funding or institutional support
sustaining retail attention very difficult in crypto - 99% of projects built on timelines terminating in hours, days or, at most, weeks - whereas the bitmap ecosystem now 3 years in and still gathering increasing developmental momentum - ( lots of really cool 2D bitmap infra out there as well )
let's be real : this is still a super niche asset few are aware of, but also still one of the only passionate crypto subcultures building legitimately novel / interesting apps aligned with the original cypherpunk vision of permissionless, decentralized, uncensorable, self sovereign infrastructure actually useful for something besides gambling
in other words = still an extremely compelling sleeper / dark horse asset genuinely in a class of it's own π

meanwhile, there are a bunch of nerds building things on bitmap

I can tell you that I and others like me are here for a completely different reason than the rest of you
for us, bitmap represents the first time in human history there's been a framework for a durable multiverse
what do I mean by durable? I mean something anchored to the immutability of the bitcoin blockchain
I mean recognizing that bitcoin is not simply money, but a truth ledger protected by math, energy, and incentives
nothing worth building should be built on any substrate that bends to the will of extractors and exploiters, or censored by governments or creepazoids like Luke
this isn't about a quick flip or a liquidity grab, this isn't about "retiring our bloodline", or any of that desperate reductionist dogshit
this is about freedom technology, built by visionaries and vibecode poets
a tiny flotilla of signal in an ocean of cynical noise
bitmap is for builders
